Jaguar, officially known as Jaguar Cars Ltd, is a British sports and luxury car manufacturer founded in Blackpool in 1922 by William Lyons. The company is now part of the Jaguar Land Rover Group.
Luxurious and sporty, beautiful and sleek, it was the fastest saloon car in the world in the 1960s. It remains the unmistakable product of a delicious cocktail of understated elegance and velvety power that William Lyons, the brand's founder, held the secret to. A stylistic masterpiece with Connolly leather interior, the MK2 was inspired by competition. Bernard Consten and José Rosinki show us the charm and efficiency of this fantastic saloon in its Tour de France version, which he considers to be the first GTI in the history of the automobile.
