20 years ago, Jean-Luc Lagardère passed away

Motor sports enthusiasts remember him as the creator in 1964 of Matra Sports, a team that won the Formula 1 world championship for constructors and the world championship for drivers (Jackie Stewart on MS80) in 1969.
One will also remember the 3 consecutive victories in the 24H of Le Mans (1972-1973-1974).

The Peugeot 205 T16 celebrates its 40th birthday

It was at the beginning of 1983 that Peugeot launched its new model, the 205, and at the same time unveiled its sports version: the Peugeot 205 Turbo 16.
Ari Vatanen and Jean Todt spoke to Fabrice Maze's camera about the 205 T16, for a unique interview on the history of this innovative rally beast: an all-wheel drive, equipped with a central four-cylinder 16-valve turbocharged engine developing 340 HP.
With this fantastic car, characterised by its versatility and agility, Peugeot was crowned World Rally Champion in 1985 and 1986.
